What is the Red Pines Training Center?

The Red Pines Training Center is the continuing education branch of The Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy (CNWSMT).  New York State does not require continuing education but many massage therapists need credits for certain organizations such as the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and the Association of Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).  Unless otherwise stated, each class offered at the Red Pines Training Center provide continuing education hours or units (CEUs) for the AMTA and the ABMP, however, only those stating "NCBTMB" under the number of CEUs offer continuing education hours for the NCBTMB.

We are proud to announce that the Red Pines Training Center has recently been certified as an APPROVED CONTINUING EDUCATION PROVIDER FOR PHYSICAL THERAPISTS!

Greetings from Director of the Red Pines Training Center

Welcome to Red Pines Training Center!  We are pleased to offer a number of new continued education classes for the Winter/Spring Session.

This is not just any Red Pines session. No, this session features the brand new “Red Pines Certification Programs” as well many new and exciting workshop trainings. In the coming months, we will be refining and enhancing the “Red Pines Certification Programs” to include more certifications, but we are starting simple, with one fantastic program.

A Certification Program in Myofascial Release Techniques and Principles is a training program that can benefit not only Massage Therapists, but also Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, Neuro-Muscular Therapists, and other bodyworkers and allied health care professionals.

As always, if you have questions, comments, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Registration Deadlines, Close Dates, Cancellation Policies

Registration Deadline/Late Fee:

Please pay close attention to the Registration Deadlines for each class.  If you register after the Deadline, we implement a $20 late registration fee to cover the expenses related to late registrations. Registration deadlines are needed so that we have ample time to advise the instructor of the number of participants. It allows for certificates to be made, materials to be copied, invoices to be prepared, and other necessary paperwork to be completed.

Registration Close Dates:

This is the date that registration officially closes for the class. You will no longer be able to register after 11:59pm the night of the registration close date.

Cancellation Policy:

Red Pines Instructors have the right to cancel a class at their discretion.  One reason for a class cancellation might be if there is a low number of registrants in the class at the time of the Registration Deadline.  Another reason might be if the instructor is not feeling well or has a personal matter to tend to.  In any of these cases, the registered students will be notified with a phone call ASAP, and will receive a FULL REFUND (minus any late fees if applicable).

Should you need to cancel your registration and withdraw from the class, our policy is that if you notify us prior to the Registration Deadline you will receive a FULL REFUND minus a $20 processing fee.

If you notify us that you will not be attending a class after the Registration deadline and up to 24 hours before the class you will be refunded 50% minus any late fee registration if applicable.
If you give less than 24 hours notice or don't show up to the class at all, you will receive NO REFUND.

Weather/Illness:

If the weather is so bad that you can not make it to the class, please call the school and leave a message letting us know ASAP.  We will use our best judgment to determine a refund for you (no guarantee).

If you are sick and can not make it to the class or think it would be in the class's best interest for you not to attend the class, please call the school and leave a message letting us know ASAP.  We will use our best judgment to determine a refund for you (no guarantee).

We currently offer three discounts:
