The Usui method of Reiki (pronounced RAY-key) is a natural and gentle method of healing.  When our vital life force energy (Ki or Chi) is blocked, discomfort or disease may be present.  The Reiki practitioner acts as a conduit for the Universal Life Force Energy (Reiki), which is then passed on to the recipient.  Reiki addresses body, mind and spirit and brings about a deep sense of relaxation.  It is in this relaxed and balanced state that healing can occur.  The history of Reiki will be discussed and basic hand positions for self-healing and the healing of others will be taught. An attunement is given which activates the flow of Reiki and each student will give and receive a Reiki session.

This class will focus on learning and using the Reiki symbols.  An attunement is given which activates the ability to engage in distance healing.   Each student will give and receive a full Reiki session.   Cost includes a manual and certificate.
