Sunday, December 1st 9am - 6pm 8 CE This Hot Stone Massage class combines the best of East and West stone healing traditions with scientific knowledge, energy work and connective bodywork. In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to set up for hot stone massage in your office, with specifics on equipment, supplies and stone selection. You’ll learn how to use the stones with technique variations that enable you to individualize your work according to your style and your clients’ needs. You'll perform and receive a 90-minute treatment. A hot stone manual is included with this class as well as the complete hot stone set that you will use in class and take home afterwards. It will be a long, one day class with a one hour lunch break. Certificate of Completion will be handed out at the end of class. What to bring: - massage oil (not cream) - 1 bath towel and 8-10 hand towels (to dry and transport stones from the heater to the client, and to use as protective layers with placement stones) - 2 extra pillowcases (to use as protective layers with placement stones, or as a drape) - rubber gloves/dish washing gloves (for cleaning stones) - sheet set and blanket Provided with the cost of the class: - Stone set - Roaster for stones - Supplies for working with stones - Supplies for cleaning stones Optional: Chakra stones for sacrum, belly, heart, and third eye Additional questions can be emailed to: info@cnwsmt.com
